Indianapolis, IN- The American Auto Racing Writers and Broadcasters Association held their annual awards breakfast at the Brickyard Crossing Golf Course May 25th, one day prior to the Indianapolis 500. Motor Week LIVE! earned four awards through the show’s companion website www.motorweeklive.com.
Program host and writer Patrick Reynolds won first place in the Online News category with “Franchitti Claims Third Indy 500.”
Reynolds also claimed second place in Online Column Writing with “Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway Fighting for the Future”, second place in Online Feature Writing with “Dan Wheldon’s Memory Lives On”, and www.motorweeklive.com won third place in the professional website category.
The AARWBA ceremony was presented by Honda and Firestone, hosted by Paul Page, and was attended by NHRA great Don Prudhomme, starter for the next day’s 500 Pippa Mann, as well as many motorsports media and officials visiting Indianapolis.
